About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children.
- Ensure all meals meet dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.
- Monitor and adjust menus based on seasonal ingredients and dietary needs.
- Educate staff and children about healthy eating habits.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with parents to accommodate specific dietary restrictions.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage food supplies efficiently.
- Participate in food-related activities and events to promote nutrition awareness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare nutrition or a similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge of dietary guidelines and food safety regulations.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating healthy meals.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
